Guides for Smart Living: Your Home Tech Simplified

Welcome to this Blog, I am happy that you found it. I don’t have a master plan that exactly details what you can find here, except that it will be all about the Digital Home. How can devices, software and brain power make your daily life easier.

When I started automating my home 15 years ago, I always lived by 2 ground rules:

• Never make a device, like a Switch, dumber than it is. Always keep the functionality, and make it smarter. So if you can turn on the light on a switch on the wall, you should still be able to do so, but maybe now you can also dim the lights.
• Automate as much as possible in your Home. Replacing a Switch with a Phone, is not smart!

For now I will focus on bringing content that I found useful to myself, or things a struggled with and solution I found. Maybe also a few product reviews, if I get my hand on new products out there.

Over time, I would love to start making a few videos, but for now things will be in writing.
